Paint Night - Painted Pumpkin September 18 6:30-8:30pm

Celebrate the arrival of fall with a relaxing evening of creativity at the Silverton Arts Association!

Bring your own medium to large pumpkin (real or faux) and learn fun techniques for creating a beautiful painted pumpkin. Michelle will guide you step by step through the featured sunflower design, or use the evening as inspiration to create a design that’s uniquely your own. Whether you prefer florals, autumn leaves, whimsical patterns, or something completely original, you’ll have the creative freedom to make your pumpkin your own.

This class is designed to be fun, relaxed, and welcoming. Come with friends, family, or enjoy a creative night out on your own.

Children ages 8+ are welcome with a participating adult.

No painting experience is necessary. Paint, brushes, and all art supplies are provided.

Participants simply bring their own pumpkin.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

  • One medium or large real or faux pumpkin

  • Optional snacks to enjoy or share

  • Creativity and a positive attitude

ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTOR

You may know Michelle Isaksen from At Easel Art, where she has spent years helping children and adults discover the joy of painting through fun, encouraging, step-by-step instruction. While her downtown studio has closed, Michelle continues to teach paint parties, childrens art camps, homeschool art classes, and community workshops throughout Silverton and the surrounding area.

As both a professional artist and homeschooling mom, Michelle believes everyone can learn to create beautiful artwork with the right encouragement and guidance. Her classes focus on building confidence, developing artistic skills, and creating a welcoming space where every student can explore their own creativity.

Michelle serves on the Board of Directors for the Silverton Arts Association and is excited to continue inspiring the next generation of artists through hands-on, imaginative art experiences.

Adult (Children ages 8+ are welcome with a participating adult.)
