Celebrate this holiday season with uniquely folded paper decorations! In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn to fold several origami models that are practical and seasonally appropriate. Origami Instructor Yuki Martin will show you how, step-by-step. The featured models may include but not be limited to various kinds of ornaments, boxes, and more. Origami is a fun and relaxing pastime and a great way to practice mindfulness, hand-eye coordination and exercise for the brain! No experience necessary. All materials provided. The workshop is best suited for anyone 8 years and older. Origami is a wonderful group activity that fosters creativity, patience and bonding.

ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTOR

Yuki Martin has extensive experience teaching the art of paper folding for over 15 years and in a wide range of venues (schools, libraries, camps, art organizations, community groups, elderly facilities, and events) and audiences (preschoolers to seniors). She is also a published author of Super Cute Origami Kit from Tuttle Publishing.

Participants ages 8 and older are welcome! Children under 12 must attend with an adult.
