CALL TO ARTISTS-AUCTION
Silverton Arts Association of Silverton, Oregon is seeking art donations for our Art Auction to be held this coming June. The event will feature live, silent, and active art auctions. The active auction will feature artists creating art at the time of the event, where guests can see the artists in action.
Open to all artists and craftsmen practicing in the Pacific Northwest. Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces for jurying.
All work for the silent and live auction must be professionally finished and ready to hang. If work is three-dimensional and requires a pedestal or other accommodations please make note of that in your submission application.
Artists interested in the Active Art Auction need to be able to start and complete their piece within the time limit of the event. You will have approximately 3 hours to complete your piece.
Submission deadline is 10:00 p.m. on Sunday April 26th. Artists will be notified by Monday May 11th. Artists are permitted to submit art for any or all of the separate auction events. All artwork excepting those intended for the active art auction must be delivered to the Art Association no later than noon on Friday May 22nd.
· Up to two digital images per artwork
· Title, dimension, medium, and value of each artwork
· If submitting for the active art auction, please include a thorough plan of the work you intend to create as well as images of similar artwork you have produced
· Artist statement and biography
· Artist contact information (name, phone number, email address)

Please Note: If the artwork presented differs greatly from the submitted images or is not professionally finished, the Arts Association reserves the right to return the artwork to the owner.

Today S.A.A. is a 501C-3 non-profit organization with an average membership of 140 artists and patrons of the arts. Our Board of Directors includes four officers. S.A.A. staff includes a part time office coordinator and part time education coordinator.
