Intro to Acrylic Inks with Stacie Clark

In this class we will explore using acrylic inks using watercolor techniques. Great for a beginner or experienced painter who want to do project work. We will leave with a beautiful tree project.
We will be using masking fluid which contains latex and is not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy. No drawing/painting skills are needed. All materials included for $15 fee.

ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTOR
Stacie Clark has been teaching watercolor, acrylic, and printmaking at Chemeketa Community College, Keizer Art Association, and Silverton Art Association for the last 20 years. She believes that art is for everyone and encourages a peaceful, step by step approach to learning.

Materials Provided by Instructor - Please bring $15 material fee to class
Location: Silverton Art Center Classroom
*If you prefer to bring your own materials, here is a material list:
- Several pieces of Canson 9 x 12 inch, #140 watercolor paper
- One piece of Canson #140 watercolor paper that I will mounted, pre-stretched backing board with watercolor brown tape
- A variety of widths of water-based brushes in a variety of shapes including squares, rounds, fan shaped
- M. Graham and Co. Watercolors Paints in following colors:
- Phthalocyanine Blue
- Yello Medium Azo
- Quindacridone Magenta
- Carbon Black
- Masking Fluid
- Pallette Paper and or plastic palettes
- Carbon paper for tracing image
- Pencils
- painters, artist or masking tape
- Paper Towels
- Hair Dryers to dry projects between steps
