Silverton Fine Arts Festival

2020 Silverton Fine Arts Festival Canceled due to COVID-19

In accordance with the Governor’s request to suspend large Gatherings until after September 1, the Board of the Silverton Arts Association (SAA) has sadly made the decision to cancel the 2020 Silverton Fine Arts Festival.

We have not come to this decision lightly, as we know that artists and community alike look forward to this event. It also provides vital funds for the SAA to do its work. During this pandemic, we all have had difficult choices to make to keep ourselves and loved ones safe. It was decided that the proper course of action was to cancel the event for this year and begin planning ways to keep the doors open through 2020 and into 2021 for a strong season celebrating the arts.

We hope you will continue to support and participate in the activities of the SAA.

Our goal for this festival is to celebrate the virtuoso talents of our finest local and regional artists, as well as to provide the public and our selected exhibitors with a show of the highest quality. The site, historic Coolidge-McClaine Park in the heart of Silverton, on the banks of Silver Creek, is a beautiful area surrounded by towering oak and Douglas-fir trees. It is a popular summer gathering place and a wonderful setting for the festival.

Thank you letter to our sponsors here.

The 2019 Fine Arts Festival was a great success!

Proceeds derived from the Festival provide major art and educational opportunities to children and adults at our local community schools as well as the Silverton Arts Association’s educational, presentation, and advocacy efforts.

As with each new festival, this year's event was a learning experience for us in what our patrons, artists, and vendors enjoyed and felt we could improve.

We look forward to SFAF 2020 in anticipation that it will be even better than this years' festivities. Please join us as part of our festival planning committee in early 2020.

Our sincere thanks to our Sponsors, Artists, Vendors, and Attendees for your continued support of fine art and culture in Silverton!
