Classes are developed to teach you about tools and materials with the objective of creating a finished piece. These typically require a larger time commitment but as a result, most individuals should be able to complete your piece in the time that has been allocated.
Workshops focus on practical skills that can be learned in a shorter amount of time. They allow you to experience working in a given medium without investing a lot of time and/or money. Open Studio events are opportunities for the community to come together to create art together as your schedule allows. Open Studio time is a great way to build communities of practice for given mediums. Bring your own materials and come to a drop in Open Studio offering. No registration is required. |
