We’re excited to share that the Silverton Art Center will be undergoing some much-needed improvements in the coming weeks!

Thanks to the generous support of Habitat for Humanity, a grant from Ford Family Foundation and another from the City of Silverton, and a donation from a generous local community member, the front deck and stairs leading to our classroom space will be completely replaced. This project will provide a safer, sturdier, and more welcoming entrance for everyone who visits the Art Center.

Construction is underway! We are especially thrilled to have this work completed before the Silverton Arts Festival and look forward to welcoming everyone to a refreshed and improved Silverton Art Center.

Thank you for your patience during construction and for your continued support of the arts in our community. We can't wait for you to see the finished project!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – SILVER FALLS FILM FESTIVAL!

The 4th Annual Silver Falls Film Festival is now accepting submissions! Join us for a one-night celebration of inspiring, family-friendly short films on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the historic Palace Theatre in Silverton, Oregon, as part of the beloved Silverton Arts Festival.

We're looking for family-friendly short films (12 minutes or less) of every genre—from comedy and animation to documentary, drama, and experimental work. Whether you're an emerging filmmaker or a seasoned storyteller, we'd love to see what you've created. Submissions are free for Pacific Northwest filmmakers.

Bring your stories to the big screen and share them with an enthusiastic community of film lovers. Submit your film today through FilmFreeway. We can't wait to discover your work!
