We’re delighted to share that board member and outgoing President Jonathan Case has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Silverton Chamber of Commerce. The Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to a local individual for making a meaningful impact on our community in a specific area. Jonathan’s thoughtful leadership, generosity of spirit, and commitment to creative community initiatives have made a lasting difference in Silverton — and we couldn’t be more proud to see his contributions recognized. In other exciting civic news, Anne Pinkowski was selected by Mayor Jason Freilinger as one of six citizen members of the Silverton Public Art Policy Task Force. The task force is chartered to review and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding the creation of a public art policy for the City of Silverton. This work will help shape how public art is supported, commissioned, maintained, and experienced in our city for years to come.
