Hey arts lovers;

The Palace Theatre was THE place to be on August 28 for the annual Silver Falls Film Festival. An incredible selection of short films from local and international filmmakers were shown to a full house full of happy local cinephiles.

We were especially lucky this year to have an array of wonderful sponsors whose support made the festival possible. Our friends at Gordon House Conservancy, Soundstream Music, White Oak Wellness and Diggin' Roots Farm all stepped up to help fund the festival and we can’t thank them enough!!

Holiday Tree lot partner wanted!

We are seeking a local Christmas tree grower that is interested in partnering with us by operating a holiday tree lot at our ideal location across from Coolidge Park.

We would love to find a partner that is ready to collaborate with the SAA team as we create some holiday Silverton magic with crafts, gift making classes, holiday workshops, cocoa bars and more.

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS!

September is here, and kids are back in school—perfect timing for our very first After-School Program at the Silverton Arts Park House!

Students will work with filmmaker Michael Turner and author/illustrator Jonathan Case on exciting projects like short films, comics, storyboards, sound design, stop-motion, and special effects. It’s all about sparking creativity, making friends, and having fun in a vibrant studio space.

Paint Experiences with Michelle Isaksen
Students will also get to explore imaginative painting projects—like creating a whimsical Blue Owl—that build skills while encouraging playful self-expression.

Parents’ Night Out with Michelle Isaksen
Drop your kiddo off for an evening of art, games, pizza and creativity while you enjoy four hours of kid-free time in Silverton. Dinner and snacks included!

And don’t miss our adult class lineup this fall— Stained Glass with William Reichle, Intro to Drawing with Linden, Intro to Watercolor with Stacie Clark, and Gelli Printing with Glenda Goodrich!
