Well, the sun is finally out in Silverton, and I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get my garden going and map out all my summer art adventures! We've got a buzzing lineup here at the Silverton Arts Association on Coolidge Street, and we are so excited to share it with you…

Call for entries!

We're teaming up with the Silverton Farmers Market to help them find a fresh new logo! If you're a designer or just love a good contest, submit your entry by June 21. There’s a cash value prize and, of course, local fame up for grabs!

Our annual art show featuring the incredible work of SFSP 6th-12th grade students opened last Friday and runs through May 18. It's amazing to see the talent of our young artists. A big thanks to Lunaria Gallery for helping jury the show, and Angela McGraw and Christine Eubanks for coordinating!

Local film producer Real Light is thrilled to present "How To Properly Prune a Tree"– a multimedia performance filled with music, poetry, and film on Saturday May 24. Curtain is at 7PM at the 100-seat Mount Angel Theater Studio, and will feature sets by three artists: songwriter Bill Roberts (The Red River), poet David Gilbert, and filmmaker (and SAA Board Member!) Michael Turner.
