Hey arts lovers; You might not have noticed our old-school record player in SAA gallery, but having great music playing while chatting with local arts lovers is one of the best parts of working at or volunteering with SAA. Each month I bring in a handful of fresh vinyl from my home stash to freshen up our gallery collection - it’s my favorite new ritual. As it’s Pride Month I thought it was time to rotate in some new faves, both queer artists and allies with my June album refresh. It’s also Father’s Day next week, so I snuck a few of my Dad’s faves in there as well, to remember him singing to me in the car on the way to ballet class. :) Please do pop by SAA sometime and say hello if you want to listen to music and swap Pride or Dad stories.
