Hollie Newton, who runs many of our art camps (including a fantastic Spring Break series last month) will host the event with help from others Arts Association members. Hollie does a great job engaging children with art. She even created a fun badge system for kids as encouragement to try out various techniques, from working with textures, paints, or professional markers.

So please come out this Friday and help us celebrate the creative output of our youngest citizens!

For the adult artists and art-curious in our community, we have options for your creative exploration, too! Check out some of the classes and workshops on offer this spring, like Mindful Art Making, Intro to Watercolor, and the ever-popular Zentagle Drawing Practice! Summer Arts FUNdamentals Camp is a go!

It’s happening!

We’re now taking early bird registration for Summer Art Camp, hosted at the Silverton Art Center the week of July 22nd-July26th, 10AM-3PM. We have two sections of art camp for ages 6-9 and 10-13, so your young people have appropriate options!

Sign up by May 15th for discounted pricing (Use code EARLYBIRD for $25 off the $150 price. It’s a great deal in any case!
