PARKING AND SHUTTLE

Parking and shuttle service for festival attendees will be available at both the Robert Frost School parking lot and the Roth’s north parking lot. Signs will be posted at each location.

ART ACTIVITIES at the Creative Café
All activities are free and open to the public!
Creative Café in the Park Pavilion:
Saturday 10am - 4pm and Sunday 10am - 3:00pm
Make sure to drop in at the “Creative Cafe” for interactive hands-on art activities, designed to fuel your creative spark and build community. Several interactive art areas will be available for all ages to enjoy, such as Collaborative Doodling, a Selfie Spot and Community Weaving.

You’ll also have a chance to support the Silverton Arts Association’s FUNdraising efforts by creating a fabulous hat, crown or headband at the “Make It ~ Wear It Station”. Volunteers will be on hand to help you can transform a simple grocery sack into a work of art you can wear at the festival! Small donation suggested.

Giggle Britches the Clown will be doing face painting Saturday from 10am-4pm and Balloon twisting Sunday 10am-2pm. There will also be glitter and temporary tattoos.

POETRY ACTIVITIES
All activities are free and open to the public!
SCHEDULE FOR BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

11:00-12:00 Poet's Writing Process (11-12 pm): Bring a poem to share and discuss your unique writing process. What inspires you? Which authors have influenced your writing? Let's delve into the creative journey together. We'll also have guest poets joining us to share their insights.
Favorite Poetry (1-2 pm): Bring along a favorite poem that's not your own and talk about why it resonates with you. This activity is inspired by Robert Pinsky's National Favorite Poem Project, and it's a wonderful opportunity to explore the power of poetry that moves us.
Haiku Session (3-4 pm): Share several Haiku poems, whether they're your creations or from other poets, and engage in discussions about the elements that make Haiku so captivating. Alternatively, you can simply sit back, listen, and enjoy the beauty of this concise form of expression.
